Many months have passed since I last blogged> but I have been busy creating new things!!!

This Saturday November 17 I will be hosting my Annual Christmas Show and Sale featuring new pendants, brooches scarves and more. Joining me this year will be my daughter Mallory selling her unique and fun hats for kids of all ages!!! and my sister Wendy with her hand crafted Christmas and all occasion cards.

This past Tuesday I had the exciting experience of my first show! I was a nervous wreck by the time the doors opened, but I survived! It was a success for me as well as for the wonderful charity Michael House. It felt good to be out there, standing behind my table, enjoying the fashion show while supporting a worthy cause.

My sister Wendy ((((hug))), helped me as she has had a lot of show experience with her and hubby’s creations . Thank you Wendy!!!

Finally enjoying some lovely spring weather!! This week I had fun putting some spring things  together and added them to my site.  Sometimes I feel that I want to keep all of them…. I get a little attached, lol. 

I know what my Mom and Mom-in-law are getting for Mother’s Day this year!!!

Thornbushdesigns is a reality!!! An idea that burst into my brain in January is coming together! I am excited, nervous, a little loopy even….. This is something I have dreamed of doing all my life in some way or another and now with the help of the internet it is possible!

Thanks John and Emily for all your help!!!

My sweet hubby needs my thanks as well…. he has been so supportive, and has convinced me that even if I never sell a thing it is still sooo worth doing what you dream of.

The day is getting closer to my website launch…. excitement and trepidation! The business cards are in my wallet, the product is in my studio, and displayed on my website, the shipping is figured out….I only need to get some product descriptions up and then push the LAUNCH button!!!!! I have had to name each piece>lol. They all sound like paint names (which I love). Moss mist, Spring rain, Night sky, hahaha. Today I am working on getting a facebook page and you will be able to follow me on twitter!! I will let you know more about that!!!

Been a busy few weeks for me!!! Been under the weather and then on holiday! While many peeps would choose a tropical hot spot for a vacation, we settled on winter

camping!!! It was one of the things on my bucket list and I enjoyed it sooo much. It helped that the weather was superb! We stayed in a yurt and did lots of xcountry skiing and wine tasting!

I have been playing around with earring ideas and this is what I have come up with so far! I will def be making more styles!
